Healing Your Holiday Grief
Join Us on 12/16
This online gathering is a workshop designed to help those that are grieving get through the Holiday Season. We will learn of ways of remembering and honoring our loved ones during a time that is usually filled with celebration. The grief journey is filled with valleys and peaks, but you can grow through your loss experiences and build your new normal.
Our facilitator is Annette March-Grier, President of Roberta's House Inc. in Baltimore, MD. Roberta's House is a non-profit family grief support center founded in 2007; it is the first bereavement center to be founded by an African American family funeral service in the U.S. to address the inequities for people of color and provide grief and mental health resources. As a teacher, counselor, trainer and leader, Annette and the Roberta's House staff uniquely provide a safe place for children and adults to heal and recover from the death of someone close. Annette was inducted into the Caring Hall of Fame located in the Frederick Douglas Museum on Capital Hill, Washington DC and was selected as a top ten CNN Hero, for changing the world.
