The Connect Young Adult Ministry
Mission: The Connect is the Young Adult Ministry at Emory Fellowship. We were created to connect with young adults in faith and in love.
We strive to connect and grow spiritually with other young adults by providing access to workshops, bible study and social events.
I am a DMV native and grew up in Silver Spring, Maryland. I am, currently, a Mathematics Teacher in hopes to, one day, expand my talents across the DMV and the country by creating a math learning center. With that being said I also have a love and passion for building community and allowing others of my community learn to love through Jesus’ example.
Nana Anguah Dei
My name means King Monday voice of God. I am from Rockville, Maryland and parents are from Ghana. I have an interest in learning other cultures and languages. I love food and soccer more than most. I enjoy learning about God through the Bible and worshiping Him for all the great things He has done.
WHAT WE ARE UP TO...
The Connect Young Adult Ministry at Emory Fellowship has been putting together an initiative called Adulting 101, where we have created a number of events that cater to Young Adults ages 18-35 in order to create a safe space and to open up about faith and spirituality. Visit our social media page at @theconnectyam on Facebook and Instagram for updates on current and future events.
